Seven practices, all of them checked against their own website. One says on its own site that it is open around the clock — and it takes dogs and cats. One more publishes an after-hours number for large animals, which is a different promise and is labelled as one. Everything else on this page is daylight work and waits under it.

In here because the practice's own website says it treats cattle, horses, sheep or goats. A clinic that only mentions dogs and cats is not in this lane no matter how good it is.
The large-animal page lists Bovine Services, Equine Services and Small Ruminant Services, and a Field Service where “Our team will give your animal or herd a thorough checkup and ensure that all preventive health measures are up-to-date.” Small Ruminant is how they say it — they never write the word goat, so they are not in the poultry-and-goats lane.

“We are a mixed animal practice with the majority of our patients being dogs and cats, but we also see equines, cows, pigs, chickens, llamas, alpacas, ducks, goats and sheep.” The widest species list anybody in this ring puts in writing. Their equine page adds: “At the barn or in the arena, DoubleTreeEquine offers sports medicine, podiatry and diagnostic imaging (ultrasound and radiographic) evaluations for the diagnosis and treatment of equine lameness.”

A mobile equine practice — “…complete equine ambulatory services to Central Arkansas and surrounding areas.” Horses only. No cattle, goat or poultry claim anywhere on the site, so this is the one lane they sit in besides farm call.

Their large-animal page says they treat “…horses, cows, goats, and other large animals.” The services named are “…Teeth Float, Coggins Testing, Colic Treatment, and Vaccinations.” Nothing on the site says they drive out, so they are not in the farm-call lane.

“Dr. Glover provides veterinary services to both small and large animals out of our Malvern clinic as well as providing farm calls.” The site adds that he “…has a special interest in surgery and ruminant medicine.” The large-animal claim is attached to one veterinarian by name, which is worth knowing before you call.

The hardest lane to fill honestly. A practice is in here only if its own site names chickens, goats or both. “Exotics” alone does not count, “Small Ruminant” does not count, and neither does a photo of a hen.
Names both, in one sentence, on the front page: “…we also see equines, cows, pigs, chickens, llamas, alpacas, ducks, goats and sheep.” Ducks as well as chickens — the only practice in this ring that goes that far.

POULTRY, SPECIFICALLY — TWO
All three above say goats on their own website, which is the best showing of any lane on this page. Poultry is thinner: only Doubletree and Morrilton name birds, and Greenbrier stops at goats. We looked at Central Arkansas too — their large-animal page says “Small Ruminant Services”, which almost certainly means goats and sheep, and we are not going to put a practice in a species lane on almost certainly. That is the whole finding for this ring.
Farm call
They come to you, and their own site says so. Where the site puts a limit on it — a mileage ring, a client-only rule, a preference for hauling in — the limit is printed with the listing instead of being smoothed over.
Their large-animal page heads a section Field Service: “We offer a wide range of primary health and preventive care services to help keep your livestock healthy and productive.” Field service is the farm call. No mileage limit stated on the page.
