Privacy
This is a store with no register. There is nothing to sign into, nothing in a cart, and no list with your name on it. What follows is the whole of it.
What this site knows
Short answer: a count, not a namePorch Dog Supply Co. is a static site. The pages you are reading were written ahead of time and sit on a server waiting. There is no account to make, no login, no cart, no newsletter, and no place on this site where you are asked to type your name — except the contact form, and that one only sends us what you choose to put in it.
We do run Google Analytics. The tag is G‑GGFR2PX319, and it is on every page of the site including this one. It counts visits. It tells us how many people read the vet directory last week, that most of them were on a phone, and roughly which part of the country they came from. It does not tell us who they are, and we have not asked it to.
That is the honest size of it. We are a supply store run by three people, not a data business, and we would not know what to do with your personal information if we had it.

Cookies: the ones Analytics sets, and nothing else.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies to keep from counting the same visit twice. We do not set any of our own, because there is nothing here that would need to remember you between visits.

If you write in, we keep the letter.
The contact form sends your note to our email through a form service, the way any letter reaches a counter. We keep it so we can answer it. We do not add you to anything, because there is nothing to add you to.
The vet directory
Public information · corrections welcomeThe vet directory lists veterinary practices — name, town, phone, hours, what animals they see. All of it is information those practices publish about themselves, gathered so a person at ten o'clock at night does not have to gather it. Nothing in there came from a customer, and no listing costs anybody a dollar.
Directories go stale. A clinic moves, a number changes, somebody stops seeing goats. If a listing is wrong — or if it is yours and you would rather it read differently, or not be there at all — write in and say so. We would rather be told than be wrong in public. Corrections get fixed, and taking a listing down does not require a reason.
Where this site sits
On Cloudflare, like a sack on a shelf.
The pages are hosted by Cloudflare. Serving a page means their machines briefly handle the ordinary particulars of a web request — the address it came from, the page asked for, the time — the way any host anywhere does. That is theirs to keep and ours to tell you about.
If you would rather not be counted at all, your browser's tracking settings or a blocker will take care of Analytics, and the site works exactly the same without it. We will not put up a banner nagging you about it.
If something here is wrong
Ask us plainly · we answer plainlyThis page is the whole policy, not a summary of a longer one kept somewhere else. If it changes because the site changes, we will change it here and move the date. If you want to know what we hold about you, the answer is almost certainly nothing — but ask, and you will get a straight answer from a person. Write to us.
