In here because the practice's own website says it treats cattle, horses, sheep or goats. A clinic that only mentions dogs and cats is not in this lane no matter how good it is. This is the biggest lane on the page, and it is the reason the ring runs out to Hutchinson and Eureka instead of stopping at the city limit.
“At Cheney Animal Clinic, we provide small and large animal services and a variety of products for your animals' needs.” That sentence is the whole large-animal claim on the site — no species are named anywhere on it, and no farm call is offered, so this lane and no other.

Small animals, cattle and horses, with ambulatory work done “On the Farm”. Their after-hours line reads “On Call 24/7/365 for Our Clients and Pateints!” — their typo, left the way they wrote it. That 24/7 is for people who are already theirs, which is why they are not in the lantern at the top. The site lists a separate emergency number, 620-583-9870, and two more locations: Moline, 620-647-6080, and Cedar Vale, 620-758-2531.
No clinic hours are published on the site; the on-call line quoted above is the only hours statement on it.

On after-hours: “A doctor is on call for emergencies during nights, weekends, holidays, and hospital closures, with the ability to meet you at the hospital if needed. Please note that after-hours emergency fees apply.” On call is not the same thing as open, so this is not a lantern listing — but of everything in this ring it is the closest thing to a night number for a cow.

Equine and bovine. The practice describes “Comprehensive Mobile Services” and says “From herd health management to emergency services, we cover it all.” On emergencies: “When emergencies arise, we are just a call away. Reach out to us for immediate assistance with issues such as dystocia, C-sections, post-parturition emergencies, and more.” A call away is not a stated overnight, so this is not a lantern listing — but dystocia and C-sections are named out loud, and that is the Sunday-night call this lane exists for.

Twelve practices walked, and not one of them puts chickens or goats on its own website. Hodes comes nearest, with “Comprehensive care for horses, cattle, small ruminants, camelids, and livestock of all kinds.” — and small ruminants is the category goats live in, and we are still not counting it, because a category is not a species and you would be driving to Rose Hill on our guess instead of their word.
That is the whole finding for this ring. We are not going to pad the lane by promoting a phrase, and we are not going to quietly delete the section either. If you keep goats or a flock near Wichita, take the mixed practices in the lane above, call them in daylight and ask them straight — then you will know, which is more than this page can tell you today.

Two of twelve · urgent care, not overnightWHAT THEY DON'T CLAIM
Two practices in this ring are built for the hours after your regular vet locks up, and neither one claims the night. UrgentVet says it plainest — its own fast facts read “Open overnight: No.” — and Urgent Pet Care, which does call itself an emergency vet, publishes no 24-hour or overnight hours anywhere on its site. That keeps both of them out of the lantern at the top and out of all four lanes above, and it is not a mark against either one. An evening door that admits it is an evening door is worth a great deal more at eight o'clock than a promise nobody keeps at three. They are below with their hours in their own words. If it is three in the morning, go back up the page.
Urgent care
Walk-in doors for the evening and the weekend, both of them in Wichita proper. Neither says on its own site that it is open overnight, so neither is in the lantern. Alphabetical, same as everywhere else — we don't rank anybody, and there is nothing on this page for sale.
Describes itself as “Walk-in urgent pet care and emergency vet in Wichita, Kansas.” The word emergency is theirs and we have left it alone. What is not on the site anywhere is a 24-hour or an overnight claim, and that is the line that decides the lane. Evenings through the week, and both weekend days from the morning.

Lanes are claims, not guesses
A practice is in the large-animal, poultry, goat or farm-call lane because its own site says it treats those animals or drives out. Nobody in this ring names goats or chickens, so that lane is empty and stays empty. Hodes says small ruminants and that still is not goats. That is the whole method.
No status lights, no stars
Hours are quoted, never rendered as “open now” — VESH is shut in the middle of a weekday and wide open at four in the morning, which is exactly the shape a status light gets wrong. No ratings, no reviews, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links. Order is by lane and species, then alphabetical.
